Having your own iPhone application can be an exciting improvement to your business. The most important thing is to make sure it meets your requirements and works for your target market. To make sure this happens, we will start by asking you exactly what you have in mind. We will then create a mockup called a User Interface, something to see the look and feel of the application. This should save a lot of time and frustration later by making sure we are all on the same track.

Your Idea!

We start with your idea. We bring in technical staff to help flesh out the idea and let you know what is the best way to make it work and roughly how much it will cost. Once we have all these basics, we can start developing your User Interface with the Application Conceptualization Service (ACS).

ACS

We start ACS process with by working out what the target market expects to see and how they want it to work. Next we work on how it looks and how your clients would work through the application. This helps us finalise exactly what needs to go into it. Finally, our UI experts start working on replacing the mockups with screen layouts. We will make sure it meets Apple Human Interface Guidelines by using various elements, color schemes, effects and controls placed where they need to be. Each of these screens are then sent to you with an easy to follow description so you can give a final look over it and your approval to go ahead.

Architecture

We use Agile software development, lightweight design and efficient management procedures which help us respond to our clients’ varying requirements. We also identify essential technical requirements such as web services and hardware communication protocol specifications and recommend concept development strategy accordingly.

Development

First step is deciding which background structure to use. We usually choose Agile software development, lightweight design and management procedures. Along with working out the structure, we also define technical requirements such as web services, content management system, hardware communication protocol specifications etc. Then, our project manager breaks down the project into several milestones, defines tasks to be performed and assign them. After assigning tasks, we continue monitoring the work progress, send updates on work status. Our developers write code in Objective-C using XCode and the latest iPhone Software Development Kit so you can be sure it will work.

Testing

When the assigned tasks are complete, our Quality Assurance team performs various tests, including those for speed and performance, to check the product’s compatibility with all first, second, and third generation iPhones and iPod Touches. We also involve our clients in testing process, which enables us to upgrade the application by integrating all the necessary changes as desired by the client.

Release

Post-testing, your app is sent to our Release Managers who verify every minute detail and submit the app with the price, description, supported languages, supported iPhone operating systems, supported iPhone and iPod Touch hardware, screenshots of the application etc. to Apple Inc. We periodically release new versions of the application and keep notes to accompany each release.
